11th & 12th May 2013
‘Making HIStory Exhibition’
King of Shop are pleased to announce a unique experience for Michael Jackson fans taking place in London from 10th – 12th May 2013
‘A King through the Lens – Making HIStory Exhibition’.
+ ‘King of Shop’ Pop Shop.
Taking place at ‘The Gallery on the corner’ in Battersea, London, This exhibition will feature many famous and unseen images of the king of pop taken by photographer Christophe Boulmé. Included will be images from Dangerous and HIStory Tour along with stunning images from the set of Stranger in Moscow. These will be accompanied by photo-creations created by Boulmé for Michael’s HIStory album and ‘Ghosts’ movie.
Christophe Boulmé has expressed his excitement at being able to showcase these images in the UK for the first time and was delighted when the King of Shop team approached him with the idea. London was the venue of choice for it’s accessibility from across Europe and it’s Christophe’s hope that Making HIStory Exhibition will give the fans something special to enjoy.
These high quality images have been enlarged to give fans a rare glimpse of Michael at work and in moments of reflection with some works standing at 4-5 foot high. Christophe Boulmé will be travelling in from Paris, France to exhibit his work and meet with fans. A VIP event will take place on 10th May 2013 for press, competition winners and invited guests. Tickets for the general public will be available for 11th & 12th May.
Entry to ‘Making HIStory Exhibition’ is charged at £5.50, with children under 12 entering for free. Tickets are available only from www.king-of-shop.com and will NOT be available to purchase at the exhibition. Tickets go on sale at 12 noon on 2nd March 2013.
IN ADDITION, King of Shop will take over the ground floor of the venue as our Official Merchandise store returns to London.
